History, Faculty, and the Composer Ferdinand Rebay
The Ferdinand Rebay International Music Academy is dedicated to promoting classical musicians and preserving the musical legacy of Ferdinand Rebay. Our goal is to support artists on their path - through highly qualified instruction, individual exchange and the opportunity to engage intensively with a diverse repertoire. The academy offers a platform for students, young talents and professional musicians to develop further and experience music at the highest level together.

The History of the Rebay Music Academy
The Ferdinand Rebay International Music Academy was founded in 2015 to preserve and pass on the musical legacy of the Austrian composer Ferdinand Rebay. Since its founding, the academy has established itself as an important place for musical education. Over the years, the master classes took place at Heiligenkreuz Abbey before the academy moved to the Johann Sebastian Bach Music School in Vienna in 2025. With a focus on high-quality teaching and artistic exchange, the academy has inspired and influenced musicians from all over the world.
